What are the dates for the 3G network shutdown?
- AT&T will retire its 3G network by February 22, 2022.
- Verizon will retire its 3G network by December 31, 2022.
Who does it affect?
This affects any fleet that has vehicles with GPS tracking devices on the AT&T or Verizon 3G network. If you’re not sure the carrier you have, or what network you’re on, contact your Customer Success Manager.
What should I do if I have 3G devices?
AT&T: If you have devices on the AT&T network, and you have not yet upgraded your device, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager immediately to schedule your upgrade.
Verizon: If you have devices on Verizon network, you will be contacted by your Customer Success Manager in the coming months to schedule your upgrade.
