Despite its small size, the BeMini provides powerful visibility through cellular connectivity, reporting directly to the GPS Insight platform. Unlike many asset tags that rely on Bluetooth gateways, BeMini reports independently through the cellular network. Less frequent updates, say every 12 hours, conserve battery power and are reasonable when the equipment is resting and you just need to keep eyes on it to track unauthorized use.
For assets that operate indoors or frequently move in and out of buildings, BeMini also includes Wi-Fi indoor location capability. This allows organizations to maintain location awareness even when equipment moves in and out of buildings or warehouses and GPS signal may be lost — a major advantage for organizations managing assets across multiple environments.
