Elevating Maintenance Management with Key Enhancements 

At GPS Insight, we are constantly finding new and better ways to improve our solutions based on customer feedback.  

This is why we’re excited to announce our latest updates to the Maintenance feature. We’re bringing greater functionality, ease of use, and efficiency to fleet maintenance management. This update not only brings our Maintenance feature to parity with the Classic portal but also introduces valuable enhancements designed to streamline operations.  

Additionally, we’re excited to announce the launch of our Mobile Maintenance Management solution, which extends the power of GPS Insight’s portal maintenance capabilities to mobile devices.  

What’s New in Maintenance? 

After launching our new Maintenance page, we identified several key enhancements needed to improve user experience and ensure full functionality.  

Now, with this update, Maintenance users can better manage service tasks and streamline maintenance tracking. 

New Maintenance Features Include: 

  • Create a New Independent Completed Maintenance Log – Users can now log a service even if a service reminder wasn’t previously set. 
  • View/Edit Upcoming Maintenance Tasks from the Vehicle Drawer on the Map – Greater visibility and control directly from the map interface. 
  • View/Edit Completed Maintenance Logs from the Vehicle Drawer on the Map – Access and modify service records with ease. 
  • Updated Filters for Services Due and Completed Services – Simplified tracking of upcoming and past maintenance. 
  • Notes Included in CSV Downloads – Ensuring all maintenance details are retained when exporting data. 
  • New ‘Service Reminders & History’ Report (Sigma/Snowflake) – Improved historical tracking and reporting. 
  • And Coming Soon: The ability to upload Upcoming Maintenance Tasks and Completed Maintenance Logs via spreadsheet.

How to Access These Features 

It’s simple, open the mobile app, select the Maintenance feature (the icon looks like a wrench) in the main navigation, and you’re good to go!

What’s Next? 

Looking ahead, we plan to introduce the ability to upload Upcoming Maintenance Tasks and Completed Maintenance Logs via spreadsheet, further enhancing the ease of data management for fleet operators. Beyond that, no additional enhancements are currently planned, but we remain committed to iterating based on user feedback.
